MATE, Unique Indoor/Outdoor Lamp

Even some boundaries are drawn, but sometimes, you won’t find the different between indoor or outdoor furniture, or at least, you will find it difficult. Just like what this Dutch designer shows on his latest design of outdoor (or maybe indoor) lamp.

Geert Koster, the designer, has created this lamp named MATE for the editor of Italian magazine Metalarte. This lamp is so common, yet a very stylish and modern solution lamp, made of white steel and a usual bulb. But what makes it so special is the fact that the design of this lamp washes away the boundaries of the usage of  this lamp, whether it supposed to be used indoor or outdoor.

The design of this lamp looks like a usual bedside lamp but a long leg makes it look like a street lamp. Its form reminds of a fly that flits in the dark sky. But wherever you use this lamp, it’s one of the best lamp solutions for any modern style. You can you is as a garden lamp, but when you look at its white color, you will find that this lamp will easily match in almost any place.
